Math team opportunities are offered to students in Grades 3-8. Each group meets four mornings during the winter/spring months to work collaboratively on problem solving. Three meetings consist of discussion and cooperative learning among students to solve a variety of age level appropriate problems. At the final meeting, students independently take the Math League grade level test. The scores for older students are submitted and a team score is posted on the Math League website. The younger students’ scores are not submitted. All students receive their corrected test, the solution sheet, and a certificate of participation. Students of all ability are encouraged to participate. The dates and times are posted in the School Bulletin.
