ORIGINAL ARTWORKS
Original Artwork Fundraiser sponsored by PTO
PTO will be offering a very special fund-raising program through a company called Original Works. The program allows you to have your child's artwork reproduced into a number of professional, full color products like cards, magnets, t-shirts, keychains, mugs, etc. The children will be creating their artwork in school through the help of Mrs. Loiselle, our art teacher, and parent volunteers. In addition, you may have some special piece of art that your children have done at home or last year in school that you would like to use. The artwork must be made to be 8" x 10" for us to turn it into Original Works. Colorful pieces that fill up the entire rectangle work the best. We've had good luck at Kinko's making color copies and scans of original art pieces to shrink them to the required size (approx. $8).
Original Works will make magnets of your children's art and send them back to you for your review. You may purchase the magnet, return it without obligation, and/or purchase a variety of other products featuring your child's own artwork in time for Christmas.
More information will follow about this exciting program and collection areas for the copies of artwork you may choose to bring in from home. The deadline for turning in artwork is October 1. If you would like to volunteer to help with this program, please contact your child's teacher. Thanks!
