SUMMERWOOD

SummerWood is a senior living campus (55 & older) with apartments for Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care.  We have 24 hour nursing assistance available on our campus. We also have dining rooms that serve meals from 7:30 in the morning until 6:00 at night.  We have programming available as well which I direct everything from spiritual programming to exercise classes to outings.  We are in partnership with St. Hubert's & Catholic Eldercare in Minneapolis.  Part of that partnership includes intergenerational programming with our seniors & St. Hubert's school. We are located directly across from St. Hubert's and have been open since October of 2004.  We do have a web site you can also visit at www.preshomes.org

Each of the St. Hubert School 4th grade classrooms visits in the assisted living building 3-4 times a year.  They plan with Amy Stock, SummerWood's recreation and wellness director. Visits might include bingo, Mexican train dominoes, exercise or just visiting with the residents. Several of our band Small Ensemble groups perform for the residents throughout the year.
