Responding to the Needs of God's People

Living out our lives by helping those in need is a hallmark of our Catholic Faith. We are guided by sacred scripture, especially Matthew 25, in how we serve the least of our sisters and brothers, the Church’s teaching and the corporal works of mercy and at St. Hubert’s the charisms of our patron saint, who was known for his outreach and generosity to the poor.

As a commission we help support, invite and make know to our parish opportunities to serve people in need locally, regionally and across the world. For more information about how to get involved with any of the below ministries, please contact the parish office at 952-934-9106.

Respect Life Ministry “Mark 10:14 “Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

The Church has consistently taught that every human life is precious and worthy of protection. In April 2018, Pope Francis wrote: "Our defense of the innocent unborn … needs to be clear, firm and passionate, for at stake is the dignity of a human life, which is always sacred and demands love for each person, regardless of his or her stage of development."    The mission of our St Hubert Respect Life Group is to protect life, from conception to natural death, through education, fundraising, outreach and prayer. Our group meets quarterly to share information on life issues, plan upcoming events, and to pray. 100% of the contributions from our fundraising events are donated to local crisis pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations.  In particular, we host several events during October "Respect Life" Month.
