St. Hubert is participating in the Lord, Renew Your Church campaign along with every parish in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The Lord, Renew Your Church campaign addresses parish needs, education for children and young people, restoration of the Cathedral of Saint Paul and the Basilica of Saint Mary, care for our active, retired, and future priests, and resources for those in need. This extraordinary effort will help strengthen our parishes and Archdiocesan ministries, ensuring a vibrant local church for generations to come.
As an archdiocese, we form a faith community of nearly 720,000 Catholics. The Lord, Renew Your Church campaign offers us an exciting opportunity to help even more people discover the joy of knowing, following, and sharing Jesus Christ.
Our Share of Funds
Every parishioner in the archdiocese is being asked to participate in the Lord, Renew Your Church campaign. Each parish will be assigned a campaign goal and keep a portion of the funds raised in the parish to spend on parish needs. After much prayer and consultation, parish leadership has decided to devote our portion of the campaign funds towards creating space for our growing community and addressing the capital needs of our church, school, and cemetery. Meeting the needs of our parish requires us to go beyond our assigned parish goal of $2,810,000 and reach for a challenge goal. We are asking for five-year pledges and inviting consideration of planned estate gifts to achieve our goal. Through this campaign, the parishioners of St. Hubert will address the needs of today and position us to meet the opportunities of tomorrow.
Expanding our Space and Meeting our Needs
As stewards of our beloved parish, we are responsible for ensuring our facilities are safe, welcoming, and beautiful. Now that our “new” church is 27 years old, it’s time to address the needs of our growing community and replace many items that have reached or exceeded their useful life. The Lord, Renew Your Church campaign offers us the opportunity to improve the sound and live stream systems and replace carpeting and HVAC systems. Additionally, we will work to maximize our current facility to create more space for our small groups and other ministries. Finally, the campaign will allow us to improve our cemetery by enhancing its appearance, increasing the number of available burial spaces, and modernizing our signage and record systems. By addressing these three needs, our parishioners can better focus on the mission to know, love, and imitate Jesus Christ.
